Fees For SWRCS Membership 20202011
(Now Due)

This year the BMFA has not raised its fees.  The committee can see no need to raise SWRCS fees either and is maintaining the £2 subsidy given last year. An application form can be found HERE.

Please note that for seniors there is an extra £9 charge for CAA registration added to the tariff. The club will pass this on to the CAA via the BMFA membership renewal payment system.See https://rcc.bmfa.uk/ for details.

If you pay the CAA and/or BMFA separately please include a note showing your CAA IDs with your renewal application.
Would Life Members wishing to fly please include either a cheque for the £9 payment made out to the SWRCS with your renewal form or a note with your CAA operator/flyer IDs for the club records if you have paid the CAA direct.

Don’t forget that you are not insured after the 31st of December until we receive your membership fee.  Also, don’t forget you get a whopping £5 discount (£3 for juniors) if I receive the fee before the 13th of January.  (As shown on the the renewal form.)

*NB Amounts marked * include a discount given only if the fee is received by the membership secretary by the 11th of January 2020.

Please also note that your 2020 insurance is not effective until the club receives your payment.

Please take careful note of the club rules, especially the noise limit and the areas you are not allowed to fly, most importantly near the main road, THE HOUSE, the industrial estate and over the go-kart track.

With flying hours back to normal, please keep noise to a minimum. Remember: One complaint can be all it takes to close a flying site. Noise measurements will be made from time to time during the year to check how the club is progressing in its aim to be as 'green' as possible.

The Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the Six Bells Pub & Restaurant, Penmark (near Cardiff Airport) at around 7:30 - 8pm.
